SAVIR organizes the premier research conference for the multidisciplinary field of injury and violence prevention. Each year the conference plays a vital role in advancing skills and methods by providing leading edge scientific sessions, inspiring keynotes, and a range of technical workshops and short courses. These sessions highlight the many ways  researchers are translating scholarship into action and meaningfully engaging with communities to prevent injuries and violence.

Hundreds of researchers, practitioners and community organization members join together to share ideas and perspectives, learn about innovative approaches to injury and violence prevention, and accelerate their life-saving work.
