Christopher Morrison
Christopher Morrison is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. He leads the Geospatial and Applied Prevention Science lab within the Columbia Center for Injury Science and Prevention, and his research examines how social and physical environmental conditions affect population health, particularly injuries, alcohol use, and alcohol-related harms. Dr. Morrison teaches Spatial Epidemiology and serves as Training Coordinator for the Substance Abuse Epidemiology Training Program in the Department of Epidemiology. He previously worked as an Associate Research Scientist at the Prevention Research Center of the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation in Berkeley, California, and he completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Penn Injury Science Center at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a Ph.D. in epidemiology from Monash University, Australia.
