Rebecca Naumann
Dr. Becky Naumann is an injury epidemiologist with 20 years of experience in transportation and injury prevention research. She holds a Master of Science in Public Health degree from Emory University and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She served as an epidemiologist on CDC’s Transportation Safety Team for six years and as an Associate Professor in the University of North Carolina’s Department of Epidemiology for five years, where she led a technical assistance hub to support community coalition building efforts across North Carolina focused on Vision Zero and Safe System planning and implementation. She now serves as the Associate Chief of Science in the Applied Sciences Branch of CDC’s Division of Injury Prevention. Note: Dr. Naumann is serving in a personal capacity.
