SAVIR is working hard to support the field of injury and violence prevention science during these challenging and uncertain times. We submitted a response to the proposed OMB rule and continue to meet with peers across the country to assess the situation, share updates, and provide guidance to our members. We encourage everyone to participate in Safe States’ August Month of Action. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to reach out and request meetings with your Members of Congress. Whether you meet in-district or virtually, your voice and expertise are critical in helping policymakers understand the value of research.
