Career Opportunities with the DoD Integrated Primary Prevention workforce
Learn about exciting new career opportunities with the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Integrated Primary Prevention (IPP) workforce.

Since it was initiated almost two years ago, the IPP workforce has hired about 1,000 professionals, and plans to hire another 1,000. Injury and violence prevention and other public health professionals and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
During the webinar, DoD IPP staff will present:
- An overview of the IPP and how it fits within the DoD
- What type of positions are available
- What a “day in the life” in the IPP looks like
- Tips on how to search the DoD/IPP website to find opportunities
- What skills and backgrounds the IPP is looking for
The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session with webinar participants.
This event is hosted by the Safe States Alliance Student and Early Career Professionals (SECP) Special Interest Group (SIG) in collaboration with the DoD. The event is open to the public.
