Funding Available for 2025-26 Student Projects
The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice is now accepting applications to support student projects during the 2025-26 school year.
Approximately twenty students will be awarded up to $3,500 each for public health projects conducted in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Funds will be directly distributed to students and are intended to help defray living expenses during the hands-on learning experience.
“The most impactful part of this process for me was seeing abstract ideas put into practice,” noted a former recipient. “It was really informative to get direct, hands-on experience in the real world and see how people are working to combat systemic problems and engage communities.”
