Panelists will highlight collaborative approaches to conducting culturally responsive research, capacity building, and community-driven interventions. Panelists will also describe collaborations in education and training, especially for undergraduate students in public health. Through case studies and shared experiences, the session will examine strategies for integrating Indigenous knowledge with evidence-based injury prevention practices, navigating institutional dynamics, and sustaining partnerships. Attendees will gain insights into best practices for meaningful collaboration and the role of graduate-focused academic research centers can support tribal-led initiatives.
