NEW Funding Opportunity: Research to Advance Racial & Indigenous Health Equity

Evidence for Action (E4A) released a new CFP on April 23rd with two types of awards: Rapid Response Response and New Research Support. Rapid Response Research awards will support early- to mid-career health equity researchers whose health equity research has been interrupted by federal funding shifts; and New Research Support awards will fund community-driven research that uplifts the knowledge, expertise, and power of Indigenous and other historically marginalized communities of color to develop or test solutions that advance racial and Indigenous health equity. A total of $5 million in research grants will be awarded through this call.
The Rapid Response Research grant applications will be part of a one-step process with brief proposals due toward the end of May, with the ultimate aim of disbursing funds by September 1, 2025. The New Research Support grant applications will be a two-step process with letters of intent due in mid-July. We anticipate that awarded projects will begin in the first half of 2026.
