New Report on Gun Violence

SAVIR Organizational member the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Violence Solutions released a new report on gun violence.
Using the latest CDC data, they found that gun suicides reached an all-time high in 2023 for the third year in a row. They made up 58% of all gun deaths in the U.S.
While gun homicides declined last year, the report highlights alarming trends, especially rising gun suicide rates among Black and Hispanic youth.
