This independent analysis, conducted by RAND, quantifies the significant economic and societal value of the 53 U.S. Poison Centers, including $3.1 billion in annual healthcare savings from reduced medical utilization, shorter hospital stays, lower mortality risk, avoided productivity loss, and strengthened public health surveillance.
