The CMSN offers exceptional interdisciplinary training and research opportunities for graduate students, all within departments that host strong PhD programs. Students work closely with leading CMSN faculty to conduct impactful research aimed at changing life trajectories for individuals affected by child abuse and neglect, accelerating science to inform practice and policy, and mobilizing public investment in prevention and treatment.
We welcome applicants with diverse interests across the spectrum of child maltreatment science—from risk and incidence to outcomes and treatment. We remain committed to supporting students from various backgrounds in education, scholarship, and leadership within this field.
We appreciate your help in encouraging promising undergraduate students to apply and in sharing this opportunity widely.
Prospective applicants interested in child maltreatment research are encouraged to reach out to faculty members in their area of interest.
