What are your injury and violence prevention research interests?
My research focuses on preventing road traffic injuries, particularly among vulnerable road users. I study behavioral, environmental, and crash-related risk factors, as well as long-term health outcomes, to inform interventions and policies that improve road safety.
What motivates you every day?
Knowing that my work can contribute to reducing injuries and saving lives motivates me each day. The possibility of translating research findings into real-world prevention strategies keeps me inspired.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy cycling, playing table tennis and pickleball, along with spending time with friends.
What is the title of your dissertation?
Bicycling Safety: Assessing Hospitalization Burden, Risk Factors, and Urban-Rural Disparities
How is this scholarship helping you with your research project?
The scholarship provides an essential foundation for researchers like me who are at the beginning of their journey. This funding allows me to focus on my project and stay motivated with the support and encouragement of leaders in the field of injury prevention.
