SAVIR’s Day of Action

Dear SAVIR member,

While our communities are experiencing major changes in leadership, SAVIR’s mission remains the same, to be the leading scientific organization dedicated to advancing the science of injury and violence prevention, helping build a well-trained pipeline of researchers across industries, and fostering linkages between the science community and the practice and policy communities.

SAVIR hopes to support all members in proactively encouraging public decision-makers to prioritize injury and violence prevention efforts. A cornerstone of doing so is developing relationships with your representatives. On or before Friday, February 7th, join SAVIR’s week of action efforts by making introductions with your elected officials. This week of action will serve as a primer for conversations to occur on Safe State Alliance and SAVIR’s joint Hill Day on March 20, 2025.
