Contribute to our Silent Auction by February 13
We’re excited to announce that in April 2026, the Society for Advancement of Violence and Injury Research (SAVIR) will host our annual conference in partnership with the Rhode Island Hospital Injury Control Center for Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE). This gathering will bring more than 400 leading researchers, students, and practitioners in injury and violence prevention together to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and shape the future of the field.
As part of this year’s conference, we invite SAVIR members, partners, and local businesses to support our mission by contributing to our Silent Auction. The deadline to participate is February 13.
Why Donate?
SAVIR is a small national nonprofit with a powerful impact. Our members work every day to address critical issues affecting communities nationwide—overdose prevention, suicide, falls, traumatic brain injury, traffic safety, and more. Through evidence‑based policy advocacy, research‑practice collaboration, and training the next generation of injury prevention leaders, SAVIR advances solutions that save lives.
By donating an item or experience to our Silent Auction, you directly support this work while showcasing your organization, business, or talent to hundreds of attendees visiting Providence.
What Can You Donate?
We’re especially seeking items and experiences that highlight the creativity of our members and the best of the region, including:
• Art or handmade items
• Vacation home stays
• Local tours or experiences
• Restaurant gift cards or tasting menus
• Tickets to performances or events
• Unique local products
• Hotel stays or spa services
All donations will be featured on our online auction platform, which opens prior to the conference and is widely shared with attendees—offering excellent visibility to a national audience.
