SAVIR has released its annual report for Fiscal Year 2025, covering the time period of October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025. It includes the organization’s history and strategic goals, major accomplishments and highlights from the year, financial reporting, and a leadership summary.

Featured highlights include:

• Partnered with Safe Kids Worldwide to establish the Drowning Prevention Special Interest Group.
• Created the Teaching Hub for Injury and Violence Prevention to support faculty.
• Added a new “Find an Expert” directory to expand virtual resources on the SAVIR website.
• Launched the Student and Early Career Opportunity Board to support mentorship, networking, and professional development.
• Reviewed SAVIR’s bylaws and refined Board committee structures and responsibilities.
• Welcomed over 100 new members since FY2024.
• Introduced the Safe Kids/SAVIR Scholarship for Unintentional Childhood Injury Research to build new researcher capacity.
