SAVIR is seeking two additional mentors for our mentoring program — specifically an MD with experience in global health or native American health services and a researcher with expertise in qualitative methods, social epidemiology, and/or community research and was a first generation student.

 Mentors provide individualized career guidance and support, as well as mentorship on writing, networking and positionally. The program is virtual and mentees receive guidance from program leads on setting goals. Expectations for mentors is to meet with mentees 1x a month for the duration of a year starting in April.
