SAVIR is excited to announce the launch of the Injury and Violence Prevention Teaching Resource Hub—a new online destination created especially for faculty and instructors preparing the next generation of prevention professionals.

Whether you teach in public health, medicine, nursing, social work, criminal justice, or another related discipline, this hub is designed with you in mind. It offers a curated collection of evidence-based tools, practical strategies, and ready-to-use content to help integrate injury and violence prevention into undergraduate and graduate-level courses.

This dynamic resource, developed through a partnership between the Society for Advancement of Violence and Injury Research (SAVIR) and the Safe States Alliance, will continue to grow with new additions over time. Current and upcoming materials include:

These resources are designed not only to support your teaching but also to spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and inspire future leaders to take on one of today’s most urgent public health challenges.

Explore the Video Lecture Series

Available on the SAVIR YouTube Channel, the Teaching Hub playlist features a series of video lectures created specifically for classroom use. Each video includes learning objectives and alignment with Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH) criteria. These videos introduce key concepts in injury and violence prevention and are ideal for use in introductory or foundational courses across disciplines.
