Call for Abstracts Is Open for PREVCON 2027: Share Your Work to Keep Kids Safe
Every day, people across the country are working to prevent child injuries. They are researchers analyzing new data, program leaders building community partnerships, policymakers shaping safer standards, and innovators developing better ways to protect kids. Safe Kids Worldwide wants to hear from you.
The call for abstracts for the biennial Child Injury Prevention Conference (PREVCON 2027) is now open. Submissions will be accepted through November 30, 2026.
About PREVCON 2027
PREVCON 2027 will take place October 27-30, 2027, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. The conference brings together the child injury prevention community to share knowledge, spark ideas, and build the connections that move this work forward.
The call for abstracts is now open
Submissions that showcase research, programs, policies, and innovations that advance child injury prevention are encouraged. Whether you have results from a long-running study, a community program that is making a difference, a policy success story, or a new approach to an old problem, your work could help others protect more children.
Why submit?
- Share what works. Your insights can help other professionals adapt and expand effective strategies.
- Connect with peers. Present to an audience that cares about the same mission you do.
- Shape the field. The ideas shared at PREVCON help set the direction for child injury prevention.
How to submit
The deadline is November 30, 2026, so now is the time to start drafting. Submit your abstract at https://prevcon.org/submit-an-abstract/.
